Admissions
Nursery Admission
Generally children are admitted into Nursery to take up either a 15 or 30 hour funded place at the beginning of the term after their third birthday. In some circumstances children may be allowed to take up a place during the term of their third birthday if there are spaces available and a parent is entitled to Talking Two's funding. Infant School Admissions
Attendance in our Nursery does not automatically confirm a place in our school as the Local Authority decides our admissions. Parents need to apply to the Local Authority for a school place. Please follow the link below.
Parents are welcome to book an appointment prior to considering a place to view our school and nursery. Appointments can be made on a Friday morning from 31 September each year.
The Local Authority will confirm a child's place in one of our Reception classes in the academic year before the child is due to start school. The school has an admissions 60 pupils per year group.
Once places have been confirmed with the LA parents will receive a letter from the school requesting them to:
- confirm that they wish to take the school place
- book a home visit with the Reception teacher
- attend some induction visits in the summer term before starting school
Children are admitted into school in a single intake in September during the academic year they will have their 5th birthday. However parents may wish to defer entry into school until their child turns 5 years old.
